A valid credit card must be presented at check – in as security for any extras or damages occurring during your stay. Your credit card details will be securely retained until we are satisfied that no extra charges have occurred. In the event of not having a credit card a cash security deposit must be given instead.

Payment Conditions

25% deposit to be paid within 10 days of making the booking (non-refundable);

The remaining amount to be paid 42 days before arrival date.

Prices may change at any time due to availability and demand.

Cancellation Terms

Up to 42 days before arrival: 25% of the total amount will be charged;

41 to 29 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount will be charged;

28 to 22 days before arrival: 80% of the total amount will be charged;

21 to 0 days before arrival: total amount will be charged.

Municipal Tourist Tax

Lagoa's Municipal Tourist Tax came into force on 13 April 2024 and must be charged by tourist resorts and local accommodation establishments to their guests.

The municipal tourist tax is established as an overnight stay tax.

- The municipal tourist tax has a value of €2.00/night in high season and €1.00/night in low season.

- For the purposes of the above information, high and low season are classified as follows:

a) High season - 1 April to 31 October;

b) Low season - 1 November to 31 March.

The municipal tourist tax is due, per guest, for paid overnight stays in tourist resorts or local accommodation establishments located in the geographical area of the Municipality of Lagoa, per night, up to a maximum of 7 (seven) consecutive nights per person and per stay, regardless of the booking method (in person, analogue or digital).

1. The overnight stay tax is payable by guests of holiday resorts and local accommodation establishments aged 13 (thirteen) or over, with the latter also being exempt on the day they reach this age, regardless of their place of residence.

2. Guests with disabilities, i.e. guests with a disability equal to or greater than 60 per cent, are not subject to the municipal tourist tax, provided they present a document proving this condition.

3. National and foreign students entering the University of the Algarve and using tourist resorts and local accommodation establishments at the beginning of each academic year, up to a maximum of 60 (sixty) consecutive days, are not subject to the municipal tourist tax, as long as they present a document proving this condition.

4. Guests whose stay is motivated by medical treatment are not subject to the municipal tourist tax, extending to an accompanying person, provided that they present proof of the appointment/provision of medical services or an equivalent document.

Property Description

The Villa

Casa Crex is a beautiful and luxurious villa for a maximum of 6 people, situated on the cliffs of the Vale da Lapa urbanisation in Carvoeiro. It is in an extremely quiet and traffic-free location.
It has direct sea views from the large swimming pool and the 3000m2 natural garden.
The nature reserve at the back of the property can be reached via a 10-metre-wide natural stone staircase and an adjacent narrow path. This takes you through a gate into an exceptionally beautiful and impressive part of our world. After a further 100 metres, you reach the huge cliff representing the national and continental border in this area. From here you can enjoy one-hour walks along the cliffs, east or west.
If you prefer a more relaxed environment, the large house with all its amenities is available.

The Outside

There is a sunny terrace of approximately 30m2 for relaxation and unwinding with an outdoor fireplace. The other terraces around the house are spacious.
The 6 x 12-meters pool is integrated into the terrace area. The entrance to the pool is via a wide staircase that slopes from about 1.20m to about 2.20m.
There is an outside parking space in front of the garage on the fenced plot. The garage is not accessible.

The Inside

The interior of the house is accessed via a welcoming entrance hall. Adjacent to this are two rooms. There is a separate bathroom.
On the ground floor, there is a spacious living room with a large dining area, open fireplace, and adjoining TV room and a beautiful terrace.
On the first floor, there is another lounge/TV room, and the third apartment is adjacent.

Kitchen
The spacious downstairs kitchen has fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean. When the house was designed, great emphasis was placed on this view. The kitchen is very spacious and offers plenty of work and storage space. It has an induction hob, microwave, oven, large fridge, dishwasher, double sink and many other useful appliances and utensils.
Next to the kitchen is the pantry, which has another fridge, freezer, double sink, and workbench.
The pantry is not open to guests. The washing machine and tumble dryer can be used once a week by prior arrangement and in the presence of the housekeeper.
The maid is not responsible for washing or cleaning the guests' clothes or dishes.

Bedrooms
There are two divisions in the rooms, each with a double bed, and en-suite bathroom with a double washbasin and shower.
On the first floor, there is another room with a double bed. The adjacent bathroom has a shower and a single wash basin.
All beds have electrically adjustable slatted frames at the head and foot ends.
There is central underfloor heating throughout the house.

The Resort

Carvoeiro Clube is one of the most renowned resorts in the Algarve, with each individually styled villa having their own private garden and pool. It is perfectly located near the village of Carvoeiro and some of the best beaches in Europe. Guests of Carvoeiro Clube resort can take advantage of the near-by sports club and facilities of Carvoeiro Clube de Ténis.
