Presa de Moura is located five minutes away from the vibrant coastal towns of Carvoeiro and Ferragudo in the heart of the Algarve. This luxury resort is made up of 40 charming apartments and 30 gorgeous, private villas, all of which overlook the Atlantic Ocean. Each of the villas feature a gated property, private pool, parking and green Mediterranean gardens. The apartments are classically Algarvian with bright interiors and modern amenities such as air-conditioning, fully fitted & furnished kitchens, underfloor heating in the en-suite bathrooms, satellite television and music systems in the lounge as well as free wifi throughout. All the apartments are equipped with a large balcony or veranda which overlooks the palm lined gardens and have breathtaking distant ocean views. The resort unfolds across acres of lush green gardens and features a vast overflow pool, large sun deck and lounge, as well as a badminton court, table tennis and boules pitch. The reception is available every day (in the season), where we will gladly assist you with any queries or requests. There is a security patrol service during night time.

Clients can work up a sweat in the onsite gym and then rejuvenate in our beautiful steam room and Jacuzzi (not available in July/August). The spacious pool lies at the heart of the resort where clients can swim laps and is encircled by a leisure lounge where one can socialize or curl up and read a good book. The gardens are mature and you can always find a peaceful & shady place to relax and enjoy the nature.

The Hexagone is the gourmet on-site restaurant, serving fresh traditional and international cuisine with a modern twist. Experience world class dining on their leafy terrace or dinner in their romantic dining room or just a refreshing drink at the bar. A short drive from the resort you will find many restaurants, shops, supermarkets and entertaining & attractions.

Guests are encouraged to play golf at Vale do Milho Golf Club, which is one of over forty golf courses in the Algarve. If golf isn’t your game; there are numerous exciting activities to do outside the resort which are only a short car ride away. As is the Carvoeiro Clube de Tenis, a sports lover's dream. The club features a variety of fun sports such as tennis, paddle, yoga, pilates and includes a fully equipped gym as well as a wellness and treatment center which is perfect for rejuvenation and family fun. The club also has a fully staffed restaurant, bar and beer garden and hosts live music events every Friday night.

Countless crystal clear waters and world-class beaches lie mere minutes away. Activities ranging from diving, snorkeling and great windsurfing to more relaxed slow pace private boat tours are also a fun favorite.

Payment Conditions

25% deposit to be paid within 10 days of making the booking (non-refundable);

The remaining amount to be paid 42 days before arrival date.

Prices may change at any time due to availability and demand

Cancellation Terms

Up to 30 days before arrival: 25% of the total amount will be charged;

29 to 15 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount will be charged;

14 to 7 days before arrival: 80% of the total amount will be charged;

6 to 0 days before arrival: total amount will be charged.

Municipal Tourist Tax

Lagoa's Municipal Tourist Tax came into force on 13 April 2024 and must be charged by tourist resorts and local accommodation establishments to their guests.

The municipal tourist tax is established as an overnight stay tax.

- The municipal tourist tax has a value of €2.00/night in high season and €1.00/night in low season.

- For the purposes of the above information, high and low season are classified as follows:

a) High season - 1 April to 31 October;

b) Low season - 1 November to 31 March.

The municipal tourist tax is due, per guest, for paid overnight stays in tourist resorts or local accommodation establishments located in the geographical area of the Municipality of Lagoa, per night, up to a maximum of 7 (seven) consecutive nights per person and per stay, regardless of the booking method (in person, analogue or digital).

1. The overnight stay tax is payable by guests of holiday resorts and local accommodation establishments aged 13 (thirteen) or over, with the latter also being exempt on the day they reach this age, regardless of their place of residence.

2. Guests with disabilities, i.e. guests with a disability equal to or greater than 60 per cent, are not subject to the municipal tourist tax, provided they present a document proving this condition.

3. National and foreign students entering the University of the Algarve and using tourist resorts and local accommodation establishments at the beginning of each academic year, up to a maximum of 60 (sixty) consecutive days, are not subject to the municipal tourist tax, as long as they present a document proving this condition.

4. Guests whose stay is motivated by medical treatment are not subject to the municipal tourist tax, extending to an accompanying person, provided that they present proof of the appointment/provision of medical services or an equivalent document.

PRAIA DOS CANEIROS

Praia dos Caneiros is one of the best beaches in Portugal, located in Ferragudo and with the peculiar characteristic of having in front of it a large cliff isolated by the water that is called ""Leixão das Gaivotas " which means Legion of the Seagulls. The beach has a host of amenities including a restaurant, bar, sunbeds and a life guard (during season). Pathways along the cliffs are the ideal way to explore the coastline.
